"The weaver is the one who transforms threads into cloth, or rather into carpets, shawls or blankets. In the Borgo responsibility for weaving, sewing and embroidery belonged to Zietta, who kept her loom in the room dedicated to her today.

What remains of her and her art today is the sewing machine and some of her surprisingly contemporary artefacts, great testaments to an art form that has now almost been forgotten. Here in the Borgo, fortunately, every room is a story and every object bears witness to yesterday, echoing in the wind."
